Teacher Employment Fair
Overview
College students and other individuals who plan a career in education can get a head start finding jobs at the Consortium's annual Teacher Employment Fair. The fair is held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia.
Each year Bland, Buchanan, Carroll, Dickenson, Grayson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe counties and the cities of Bristol, Galax and Norton Public School Divisions have representatives available to talk with prospective employees. The fair is held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Lunch is served from noon until 1 p.m. and is free to all participants.
Pre-registration for all participants is required.
