Partners in Education
The Executive Director of the Southwest Virginia Public Education Consortium will provide coordination, communication and regional direction for the Partnership, including:
- Coordinating, planning and turnkey provider for school divisions in scheduling and coordinating technical assistance and training throughout the REGION;
- Coordinating professional development training for the content fellows so they stay abreast of the newest materials, technology, pedagogy and curricula;
- Meeting with Directors of Instruction of the School Divisions to ensure critical technical and professional development needs are met;
- Coordinating services with the Virginia DOE;
- Communicating and making arrangements for regional crossover programs, and;
- Reporting to the Consortium Board of Directors at regular intervals on partnership progress.
